September 30th, 2008: Comiket!! The line was really long, and it was really hot and humid. Bleh.
September 23rd: Sorry for last week's late update. I taped a note to my screen this week to make sure the comic was up with plenty of time! While we were in Ueno there was a Pokemon event going on. All the little kids were so cute! They were all wearing Pikachu visors! I wanted to take a picture, but that seemed really pedophile and stalkerish.
September 16th or 17th: Sorry, late update. Work and convention stuff has been filling my mind, and Ensuing just slipped through the cracks this week. They really do have a life size blue whale statue in Ueno. It's really awesome.
September 9th, 2008 On the airplane, the seat next to me was empty. In my childish mind, I thought this was great, because the lady on the other side of the seat and I could share it and each have a little more room. No, she had spied that seat and she decided it was her seat. She spent most of the flight sleep on both her seat and the empty one. Not a big issue, I don't need that extra seat. But then she would kick me and glare at me like I had done some horrible deed. I'm sorry, but if you kick me in the area that my ticket designates to me, you're in the wrong. Sorry. >={
September 2nd, 2008: Arg, I'm so tired. But well, I'm back from my most awesome trip with some good material to make comics out of. Whether those comics will actually turn out well or not is an entirely different matter. This comic was not made with the good material, as should be quite obvious. Before I left, my entire family kept asking if I had packed this or that. EVEN MY LITTLE SISTER. It's okay. I PACKED WHAT I NEEDED. Anywho, that's it for this week.
August 5th, 2008: STRANGE BUT TRUE!!! My mother gets mad when she sees I've bought another book, but doesn't have the same reaction when I buy videogames!!!
I'll be away from my computers for the next three weeks, but NEVER FEAR, there will be comics. Just no text updates. But text updates are usually pointless for this comic, so it's alllllll good.
July 29th, 2008: Times passes so quickly. The new Artemis Book is pretty awesome.
July 22nd, 2008: Nur and I had an Emma marathon this last weekend. It was fantastic. Now I'm playing Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. It's pretty hard. =(
July 16th, 2008: Wow, I was pretty good on updating properly for a long time, and now I'm just constantly failing. Here's the anniversary picture I meant to draw for last week. It's Kyle and Roy, two boys who haven't been in the comic for years. I'm thinking of going back to Xyia stuff, because now that I'm out of school, a lot of opportunities for good My Life material are gone. We'll see, we'll see. There will be My Life comics until I decide though. Sorry for the late update!!
July 8th, 2008: And now Ensuing is six years old. I was going to make an anniversary picture, but you know how life goes. Maybe I'll get one up for next week!
July 1st, 2008: Now it is July! This comic is a bit of a lie, but not too much of a stretch. Most days I spend doing my job, but during breaks I read manga, so my head is always swimming with stories when I work. If I had my game systems hooked up, I would probably be playing my games instead of reading so much, so I guess it works. =3
June 25th, 2008: ERRRGGGGG. Sorry. I was caught up in some work stuff, then some random stuff Monday night and Ensuing completely slipped my mind until I was heading into San Francisco Tuesday morning with no way of doing anything about it until Tuesday night. Sorry, sorry, sorry!! This is the first paper and pencil comic in a while though, eh? It got a bit smudged in transport though... Also, Ensuing is finishing it's sixth year. Huzzah! That totally slipped my mind too!
June 17th, 2007: I've moved back home for the next few weeks. The next several days will be very full with unpacking and cleaning!
June 10th, 2008: Finals week, blarg. Quick one today. Better one next week? ....well, back to studying...
June 3rd, 2008: More Tardo. They'll be more Tardo next week too. Urg. So. School is winding down, and it looks like I'll have a pretty awesome Summer. I just have to get through these last couple weeks of school...
May 27th: I'm back from Fanime! Thank-you to everyone who came to support Ensuing at the Webcomic panel and who supported my senior project by buying Orichalcum (I'll be selling this online shortly and will post info here when that time comes). HEY GUYS. JUST TO LET YOU KNOW. I don't check the e-mail that is attached to the e-mail button anymore. It just got too overrun with spam. Please feel free to e-mail at dragynstorm [at] gmail.com. If you've sent me anything through the previous email address and I haven't responded, please forgive me.
Anyway, the comic. This introduces Tardo. I rather like this little guy. I hope you do too.
May 20th, 2008: Nur and I were going to have an Emma marathon when my parents go to Vancouver, but it comes out the week after. Bummer. I'll be at Fanime this weekend! I'll be performing with the other members of Minna no Nur-Puppy in the Masquerade, helping out with the Restricted Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament, and in the webcomics panel on Sunday at 3pm. My senior project, a comic anthology named Orichalcum, will be on sale in the dealer's room! Please check it out!
May 13th, 2008: Yeah, I'm sick. Just a cold, but it's very annoying. And I should be covering my mouth when I cough in this comic. Now one wants to be hit with flying flem. Naaaasty.
May 6th, 2008: Well, it's May. Cosplay crunch time.
April 29th, 2008: No, my scythe will not actually have blood on it.
April 22nd, 2008: I'm a bit tired of some people I know thinking I'm "not a real anime fan" if I don't watch what's popular. =\ Sorry? Arg, I'll be so glad when at least one of these project I'm working on is done! T^T
April 15th, 2008: BLARG. It's not this quarter has really hard classes, there's just a lot to do for club, work, and my senior project that everything I need to do for my regular classes feels like I'm pulling out my own teeth. At least Ensuing was the last thing I needed to do today, so I have an hour to relax before bed. YAAAAAY!
April 8th, 2008: Back to regular My Life comics. This is a bit of a throw-back to old Ensuing comics. David drew me a picture of the Anime Warrior for my birthday, and it inspired me to do some Anime Warrior comics. It's especially fitting now, since I've been having some... interesting dicussions about anime with my friends from school...
April 1st, 2008: I start my last quarter of college today. This is the last Orichalcum comic... I think this one turned out alright. Next week we'll start having normal comics again.
March 25th, 2008: Second verse, same as the first. ~_~
March 18th, 2008: Ugh. It's finals week. I stupidly didn't do the comic yesterday, so ugly comic. Ugly ugly comic. I'll have to redo this comic for Orichalcum, so I'll just replace it with a better version when I finish it. Next week: find out the Professor's awesome double-monocle-given powers!! EXCITING!
